The Electricians Office exists because I lived the problem first, long before I tried to solve it for anyone else.
Started my apprenticeship as an electrician — straight onto the tools, learning the trade from the ground up.
Running my own contracting business — juggling staff, pricing jobs fairly, and every bit of paperwork, with no one to turn to for the right advice or tools.

Nobody hands you a playbook when you're suddenly responsible for staff, pricing and a growing list of jobs. I learned it all on the fly — and the admin always seemed to land at the worst possible moment.
The worst days were the ones out on site with no signal, somewhere rural, miles from anywhere. That's exactly when everything would stack up — quotes waiting, invoices unsent, the diary getting messier by the hour. I used to wish someone else was on top of it while I was stuck up a ladder or down in a basement with no bars on my phone. That's the business I've built.
